Post-Dengue reduction of Platelet count
My father (70 yrs.) got infected with Dengue (NS1 positive) 9 days back. He was hospitalized for 4 days and we were advised to check the PCV and Platelet count for consecutive 3 days. On the date of release the Platelet count was 200*10^3/microL. Then it became 170*10^3/microL and 155*10^3/microL resp. When will it become normal and why this fluctuation is occurring? Is it a bad sign and what are we supposed to do now?

HELLO, TABLET LIMCEE THREE PER DAY TO SUCK FOR SEVEN TO TEN DAYS(ASCORBIC ACID I, E VITAMIN C). IT IS SAID TO BE ASCORBIC ACID IS HELP TO INCREASE THE PLATELET. IN DIET MOUSAMBI JUICE, NIMBU PANI,  GOOSEBERRY, ETC SHOULD BE IMPORTANT INGREDIENTS WHICH INCREASES PLATELET COUNT. THIS IS NOT SERIOUS, SLOWLY THEY INCREASED. O.K BYE.
