Post Chikungunya Arthritis
Hello.. have a small query .. got chikungunya two weeks back.. after two weeks developed ankle joint pain that is severe and mild wrist joint pain as well.. pain came down with plain dolo .. had to get some blood tests done Anti CCP- negative Lft rft is normal Leucocytosis (10100) CRP- 4.76 ANA - 1:100 titre nuclear speckeled ( ac-4/ac-5) Same ANA test was done ELISA method in March as a part of thrombophilia profile due to repeated miscarriages (3 times early Loss) that came negative ) Is my ANA report of concern ? And is steroid the only perception for joint pains as I am planning for a pregnancy through IVF in the next one or two cycles ? Kindly guide

Hi ANA can be positive as a part of reactive process secondary to infection I suggest you not to worry about it. Joint pains could be a part of Chikungunya reaction itself.
