Post chemotherapy Low HB level
My father in law aged 74 was diagnosed with 1st stage lung cancer on 27.06.2019. As medically adviced, he underwent the scheduled 6 weeks radiotherapy and 4 chemotherapy sessions as of now. Today when he checked his blood, HB level came down to 8.7 and WBC count to 2600. He is diabetic as well as asthmatic. It was 9.9 and 7400 respectively on 14.09.2019. 4th chemo was on 18.09.2019. What are the implications of low HB level and how to improve the situation ?
