Popliteal fossa rupture
Hi Doc! I had this issue back in 2011/2012. I consulted a physio back then and went through treatment and lost some weight as well. Over time it was just fine until recently, my walk is a little less confident as there is a limp. Sitting down for a long time and standing causes stiffness and pain and vice versa.

Your hamstring muscle may be too tight. Try to relax it from a physio and get on with strengthening quads and calf ..try releasing trigger points if any from a physio.
