Will Metformin 500g, taken twice daily, work for PCOS and weigh loss? I really want to lose weight, that will regularise my periods. Also, I don't want to take pills. I am 22, with a sudden weight gain of 77 kgs, height 5'5.

Metformin does not cause weight loss on its own. Lifestyle changes are important. Weight loss will certainly help pcos
