Pneumonia with High wbc
I m having pneumonia with wbc 18900 count. Doc has given antibiotics. Is it necessary to be admitted in hospital or can be treated at home

Wbc count does go up in pneumonia and at the age of 77 he can have difficulty in breathing hence it is better to hospitalise him for proper treatment.
