Hearing was improved but from 24 Jan I started hearing rining sound and doc said it is Tinnitus. I am afraid if this sound will ever go. Who is responsible for this as before surgery this sound was not there and surgery was performed just for perforation. Please help.and guide me what to do. I am in Pune

Since you had good hearing outcome after surgery and there was no pre operative tinnitus there is good chance of spontaneous recovery. Tinnitus can even occur because of simple eustachian tube dysfunction. Get a tympanogram for confirmation of eustachian tube dysfunction as audiogram looks normal
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
