Pitting edema after fall
My mother fell down. She is 54 years old. After the fall she has scrapped knee. And little nlood clot in ankle and leg. Her lef is swollen now and has pitting edema in ankle and where the edema is pitting, there is a little blod clot. She feels pain in her ankle after pressing or touching. She has got tetanus injection and washed her knee with betadine and applying tbact. Surrouning area of scrapped knee is red. Does the pitting edema goes after cure? She feels her leg is little heavy after fall. Does the pitting edema goes away after curing the injury? What ointment or medication she can take for this injury?
