Piercing in left side below chest
Hi doctors, my niece told me that she sometime feel pain and piercing just below chest on left side and find it difficult to breath for 5 - 8 seconds. She is also having problem
of asthma but pain and piercing happens after every one or two days.

Hi. I understand your concern s. It is mostly due to asthma . If asthma is not under control she may have these aches and pain. Consult a pulmonologist to get a pulmonary function test which is needed for the diagnosis as well as to assess severity of asthma based on which treatment can be started.
