My son eating unusual items like chalk, soap, crayon, powders etc., His front upper teeth also got damaged, don't know the reason. Is there any specific reason for this and very much concerned about this problem. Sometimes he listens our words and sometimes not. If any body (means any elder than him) criticises him and laughing on him, he also join with them and laughs, but cannot understand what they told, he wants to join to play with his friends, but cannot play like with them, sometimes (only sometimes) he wants to be alone and will not mingle with us. Very much concerned about this problem, please help me to overcome this situation

Eating unusual things might be due to anemia.
But not mingling with others not able to play together might be due to autism.
Better have him screened by a developmental pediatrician
