Peripheral neuropathy and pregnancy

Iam having early pregnancy iam diagnosed with low vitamin b 12 and peripheral neuropathy iam suffering from severe tingling sensation in hand and feet as well as numbness.
Would it effect my pregnancy in any way or create birth defects ?

B12 def is very common. You should look for other causes of neuropathy, kindly consult neurologist
