Irregular Periods may be painful and annoying, but paying attention to them is important: Prolonged irregularity in your monthly flow could signify pregnancy or a handful of health issues. First, irregular periods can caused by an extreme drop in body mass index (BMI), often triggered by eating disorders or extreme exercise. Next, stress can influence your monthly cycle. .
Next Steps
If your periods start to arrive irregularly - or if you're missing them altogether - the first thing to check is whether or not you are pregnant. If that is ruled out please go visit a Gynac and explain your situation.
