Chemical peels are very effective for acne as well as pigmentation. Peels only keep your acne under control, reduces pigmentation and seborrhoea(oilyness). Acne usually starts at puberty and goes on till mid 20s, so if you continue to have acne even when you are late 20s or 30s (adult acne) then you should be investigated for any hormonal imbalance.
