Pcos suspicion
My wife's report for vaginal ultrasound is following UTERUS Uterus is anteverted, normal in size & outline. Myometrium shows coarse echogenic echotexture with tiny echogenic foci-may suggest DUB. No definitive changes of adenomyosis seen. Endometrium is normal in thickness (5 mm. No endometrial hyperplasia / polypl fibroid seen. Cervix & proximal vagina appears grossly normal ADNEXAE: Both ovaries are normal in size (vol 6cc) and show multiple small peripheral oriented follicles of 3-5mm (>10 follicles per ovary). No frank polycystic changes seen. No adnexal lesion seen No free fluid seen IMPRESSION: Coarse echogenic uterine myometrial echotexture-rlo DUE Does this indicate she has PCOS or some other disorder?
