PCOD from 9 years
Doctor advised me to start APCOD OBIS Sachet for 9 months along with OVRAL L. My question is should I continue the APCOD sachet during the 7 days off of OVRAL L? Or should I take the APCOD entire month without any gap.

You need to ask this question to the doctor prescribing the medicines. Isnt it? Every doctor has different way of prescribing medicines. Some patients also go to wrong doctors and take medicine. I hope the person prescribing you APCOD IBIS and Ovral L is a Gynecologist. The treatment of PCOD is NOT finite like one given for malaria or typhoid. Treatment of PCOD is altered based on one's age, marital status, want of pregnancy or contraception etc. Ovral L are pills to avoid pregnancy. APCOD IBIS are nutirtional supplements of things which are deficient in PCOD state. They can be taken for ever, without a break. The best treatment of PCOD is to have pregnancy. A pregnancy can alter the hormonal problems caused by PCOD and thus give a good reocvery. If you are not married or are married and NOT wanting to be pregnanct you can change the medicines as there are better contraceptive pills available than Ovral L which can also help as treatment of PCOD.
