Pass urine with cough

Asked for Female, 45 Years

From a year I feel so uncomfortable and for that I decreased socializing as it's embarrassing when I cough i got urine leakage . Recently having bronchitis and was coughing for 18 days and every time I was feeling embarrass. Why is this happening? Thank you

You are having stress urinary incontinence.. Ur pelvic floor muscles might be weak and this causes urinary leak whenever there is increase in abdominal pressure.. u need proper training for pelvic floor exercises to increase the muscle strength and conservative medical management initially.. u should consult a urologist...
