Pap smear report. What does it mean?

This smear in not suggestive of any pathology other than inflammation. Which could be because of some local infection and may require a course of antibiotic . Since ASCUS is not persistent and not having HPV no further investigation is needed now . I would recommend you to continue screening every year for 3 more years then 2 yearly till you are 30 years. Before 30 years it will be beneficial to combine with HPV testing only if smear are abnormal . After 30 years of 3 consecutive samples are negative then you can do screening every 5 years combined with HPV testing . Please mention if your having any specific symptoms , that are worrying you , which may help us give antibiotic which you need or guide you if you need any other investigation.

No need to worry , ASCUS as the definition says are of unknown significance and if they are not found on repeated smear no further action is required . This does not increase your risk of malignancy.
