After 5 months of delivary i got acute pancretitis and i was hospitalised for 5 days .if it will come again ? Some times i am having burning sensation in abdomen recently i have cheked my lipid profile the report is normal is their is chance to get pancretitis sgain

Hi, need to find out the cause of pancreatitis , mist common being gall stone , Alcohol , hypertryglyceridemia, hypercalcemia and after all few pancreatitis have unknown etiology.
You need further evaluation and depending upon the treatment.
Recurrence should not happen.

Most common cause of pancreatitis are gall stones and alcohol. A fasting ultrasound should be done to rule out gallstones and if present better to remove the gallbladder.
