Painless inflamed tonsils
I had tonsils which was painful and took Azithromycin 500mg for 5 days ,the pain went away .But the swelling is still there ,it doesn't pain.Still have a little cough which is improving but the swelling is not going away.Wanted to know when can I start taking cold beverages(soft drinks as well as alcohol) like  normal  or should  I still continue with gargling and warm water.

Swelling if present without pain, nothing to worry. Cough persists long time you need treatment
