Paining between the chest and the abdome

Its has been 3days my mother can't get relief from the pain which is between the chest and the abdomen .please tell me the reason why is it happening.

It may be due to gastritis issue. Take PPIs and antacid syrups, if not relieving consult near by physician for physical examination and further management
