Hi. I have a painful lump under the skin of my right arm pit. It is completely under the skin. Not protruding outside. It is painful when I press it. Size is about 2cm x 1cm. It is located around the middle of the bottom section of my armpit.

It could be a furuncle or a carbuncle or an infected epidermal cyst. Examining it would better help to decide the further course of action. For now you can start with oral antibiotics (tab cefixime 200 mg twice a day) and applying fusidic acid cream .. but still consult a dermatologist to get a proper definitive diagnosis. Hope this was helpful
