Extract it.... Root canal for wisdom tooth can be done. but the best and permanent solution is to remove it.. the reason for cavity is inaccessibility of brush to that area, even after RCT you wont be able to brush that area, so better extract

Hello dear practo user,
Its difficult to comment without an xray.. anyways if the infection is too much, better get the root canal done in multiple sittings than doing it in a single sitting and then coming again to the clinic with the same problem.. so avoid single sitting as much as possible .. all the best.

One sitting root canal treatment can be done if there is not much infection below the tooth. So that depends on the X ray and clinical status of the tooth.

Making your tooth free from infection causing agent is more important than sittings on dental chair. It depends upon the structural complexity of tooth and accessibility and present condition to make a successful rct either in single or more visits

Many of times it is advisable to do extraction for wisdom tooth instead root canal.
And if root canal has to be done then proper X-ray is required (for single siting also).
Consult your dentist for any of this treatment.
