Pain in the upper abdomen and fever.

I'm 31 year old male from Bangalore. I have been suffering from dull pain in the upper abdomen followed by fever once in 2 weeks from last 7 months. Most of the time I feel better in a few hours. Recently I went for an ultrasound scan and was told it is acute appendicitis. But as the scan was not very clear I was told to go for CT Scan. The CT Scan also confirmed appendicitis. CT Scan summary is "Appendix is diffusely thickened, measures about 1.0cms in maximum diameter, retrocecal in location. There is diffuse periappendiceal fat stranding along with reactionary thickening ofthe cecum. Traces of fluid is seen in right iliac fossa. No definite mass lesion / large localized collection seen. No appendicolith. No evidence of free air in the right iliac fossa. Few subcentimeter mesenteric lymphnodes are seen in RIF." I was told to go for a appendectomy surgery. But as the pain is not severe or constant I'm looking for alternate therapy like Ayurveda or Homeopathy. Please suggest.
