Pain in shoulder and neck

My name is Jeanine I;m a 38 yr old female. i'm having shoulder pain (couple months now) Thought it was just a knot causing pain. Woke up the other morning and i couldn't lift my head because of pain in my neck. my fingers now go numb if i move too much. Can't sit and hold my head up without pain shooting down my arm and between shoulder blades.
