Pain in neck and shoulder

Hi, one day when i woke up i felt a lot of pain in left shoulder and neck. Specially if i try to move my arm up it feels pain in the trapezius area covering left side neck and shoulder. I got scratched by a metal few weeks ago and didnt took tetnus shot can that have anything to do with this?
