hi, if this pain is very recent or sudden please get an eye exam done for any foreign body in the eye. if this is long term and on n off then probably due to dry eye.

Your history is incomplete ..since when you facing this problem ?? ..If something fell into the eye or minor injury days back , kindly visit ophthalmologist.. if you working more on computer , may be dryness , use lubricants (flogel) every 2hrs for 2 weeks ..
