Pain in lower abdomen
My wife had a abortion on 5th Decemeber, while the doc did the ultrasound she suspects there are fibroids in around uterus. She suggested MRI. I went to Radiologist and he said that you should go for transvaginal ultrasound (TVS). Which is a better option to check these kind of things than MRI. Please suggest for which test you would recommend which shows better result to know what inside the uterus. She is having constant pain after the abortion.

Get TVs done check for retained products if any thing apart from Rop fibroid get MRI There are other test to view inside the uterus. Hysteroscopy is one of the test

Tranavaginal ultrasound is a good option of course.
But for fibroids if any outside the uterus and to see if any adjacent organs are getting compressed or pushed MRI would be better.
So go for both and then discuss with your gynaecologist.
