Pain beside neck
Please note the green mark in the image, when i put my finger and open close mouth, when the muscle gets rubbed there, it feels dull sore type ache, it doesn't happen on left side of neck. 2-3 weeks back that pain happened i was given amoxyclav by doctor thinking it's a wisdom tooth extraction infection, my wisdom tooth extraction was done one june 28, now its aug 17, so m nt sure if that still can affect that area, this pain was never there before the extraction. When i turn my head sidewise and click my ears, i get a stabbing type pain the the bottom end where the green line ends. Please help me..

Hi.. There can be a lot of reasons for the symptoms you have mentioned sometimes the pain is due to problem in the localised area and sometimes it can be a referred pain from some other area. It could be due to problems in your TMJ joint, some unknown trauma , sinusitis, ear infections, referred pain of migraines sometimes ,any other cavities besides your 3rd molar etc But to reach onto to any conclusion we need to do a physical examination as well as a radiological examination.
