Pain and swelling in neck/shoulder area

I feel pain and swelling at Left back side of Neck where it meets shoulders.
On pressing although I don't find lump , the spot where it hurts the most, I can feel something different inside it, like some nerve inside enlarged and painful
The symptoms are since 7 days taken ibruofen ( 5 days twice a day) and applied diclofenac gel no any relief yet!
Pain Doesn't aggrevate on neck motion but feels immense when that part is pressed. (Pain level 6 out of 10)
Is there any lymph node in this region?
