During flight descent, I started experiencing severe pain above my left eye. The pain is still there even after 3 days although less severe. I do not have any sinus problem.
Please advise if I need to visit any doctor and if yes, which type of doctor? Or it shall go away on its own?
Also, in future, how to overcome this pain during flight travel.
Thanks

Hello
This pain could be due to two main causes
A. Increase in intraocular pressure
B. Mild inflammation in sinuses
You can try steam inhalation
If pain still persists then consult local ophthalmologist
There is no special way to prevent this in future ..Only thing that you can try is chewing gum or swallowing something during flight
I hope this will help you
Regards
