Thanks for your message. Based on your height and weight, your BMI (32.8) indicates that you are obese. So it is very essential that you take steps to lose your weight. It is recommended that you continuously monitor your thyroid levels and ensure they are within the normal range. Family history plays a major role in regulating your body weight. But that is not your destiny. It just gives you an alarm that you " NEED TO BE EXTRA CAREFUL". Simple tips to lose weight: 1. Regular exercise ( at least 30- 45 minutes of moderate intensity) is recommended. 2. High protein diets are more successful when it comes to weight loss. two egg whites, nuts, dals, legumes can be added in adequate amounts to your diet. 3. Daily inclusion of fruits and vegetables will also help you to make you feel fuller. 4. Adequate amounts of water ( 6-8 glasses) will help you to feel hydrated. Write back to me for more information. Will be glad to assist you.
