ORIF surgery not recovred
Its been 1 year since an 11-12 inch rod was inserted in my right leg after I fractured my tibia and fibula. I haven't recovered fully yet and cannot run properly as it hurts my knee. Does it really take this much time to recover? Will i be able to get back to my fittest ever again?

You have to strengthen your quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles. If the implant hurts you, only then you can go for implant removal surgery.
