Opinion on young CKD/DIAB/HYPR T/PNEUM
My sister is  36 year old. She was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, diabetes at 16 years of age She had been taking medicines but not regularly. In 2020 she was diagnosed with CKD and soon started with haemodialysis along with Hypertension, Diabetes and Hypothyroidism. Soon she developed conditions of acute anemia and water retention in her stomach.  Her acute anemia got fixed with regular post dialysis erythropoietin and darbopoitien. Her weight has dropped to 47kgs. Recently she was diagnosed with pneumonia and was admitted to a local hospital. Doctors suggest that she had water retention in her right lung and water has also minorly affected the heart and her LFT is fine but as the water is increasing in her abdomen she might be having liver issues. While her pneumonia is getting treated she has become extremely weak and her Hb has dropped to 6 from 12 and we suspect that it is because of hospital mismanagement. What should be our line of treatment from today?
