My mother is bedridden for three weeks, now a days she gets very angry if we try to change diaper, clothes and try to give liquids.Always closes her eyes and doesn't want to respond. Shown to gerontologist also. Doctor advised not to distrub her and do not force to feed. Not necessary to admit her in icu.
Family members don't know what has to be done next. Seeing her we all fell sorry and we can't do anything just sitting next to her.
How long this process will take to complete her life. And what else we can do to help her.
Why she is getting angry this much?

Hello, she is very old n getting irritated or angry at this age is natural too. They do feel quite lonely especially if bed ridden.
Next Steps
If you people do have kids at home, make them spend time with her. Her kids need to sit beside her n talk to her of past memories n happier times that involved her.
Health Tips
Please try to take time out of your busy schedules n do see the difference in how she responds to this. Take care of her n make her feel wanted.
You should understand her mental stress being on the bed . Her mind won't be relaxed since you are doing each and everything for her that is really irritating and making her sad .. that she will show in the form of anger or silence only..
Be with her talk to her very well . That will make her happy.. even kids in the family should be around her . Don't leave her alone. Understand her inner feelings. She will be fine. Just relax.
