Hi. OCD us a treatable condition with adequate treatment. It's nice to know that you have achieved significant relief with your treatment. Regarding the treatment duration, we generally advise the patients to continue treatment for at least one year after symptoms are completely resolved. At this stage I would advise you to talk to your psychiatrist regarding addition of cognitive behavioural therapy to the treatment. The therapy sessions will help reduce the symptoms further and in addition decreases the chance of relapse post treatment.
Next Steps
Discuss with your psychiatrist regarding cognitive behavioural therapy.
