This is a very tough question to answer because since you have been doing good on one drug I don’t think it’s wise to change it. As for the financial concern please go visit a government hospital or medicine centre where you can find glucosamine at a better rate.
Please re-visit the doctor who prescribed you the medication and discuss the possible medications that you can take.
