Obsession with a dog
Hi doc.
My brother is 15 yr old and is totally obsessed with a stray dog at our home,in a day maximum time he says about his dog directly or indirectly and watches videos of dogs ,he doesn't understand that if dog is dirty and sick as it's stray dog he should take precautions, instead he prefers to touch the dog and doesn't listen to parents ,it's really worrisome kindly guide.

Hi friend , your brother is probably looking out for a companion & so he must have chosen the dog , no matter stray ! If not your parents atleast you need to be handling your brothers’ behaviour effectively . Dogs or pets are stress busters. Rather than complaining learn to adopt & accept your kid brother ! Giving shelter to a stray is a healthy practice & one needs to learn to tackle domestic animals around rather than neglecting .
