Numbness and Pain in left
I am an IT professional and experiencing occasional numbness in my left hand. When I try to close my fingers, I have pain in my hand. Also after driving bike, I feel pain in my entire left hand. I have gone for physiotherapy for last 1 week but not much useful. Please suggest what needs to be done.

Hi there.. hand pain ,numbness, which increases during work like riding, writing could be due to thoracic outlet syndrome or carpel tunnel syndrome or hypothyroidism, cervical disc prolapse. For pain relief give rest to hand as due to over use muscle inflammation occurs which could press on nerves and cause pain, dip hand in hot water so that there is more blood flow and washes out pain causing chemicals.. consult orthopedician once..
