19 days ago now I was elbowed by tip of elbow hard to the left upper cheekbone right below eye socket in a very narrow region guarding someone playing basketball. Very little swelling, just a very intense bruise in a very small area at upper cheekbone.
Left side of face went numb, was mostly crosseyed for like 20 minutes. Had a bit of headaches along the left edge of my face first day. Double vision eventually improved, but numbness has remained along left side of nose 20% and upper left lip as it slowly improves. All exterior damage to my face is gone now, no one would look at me and think I was even hurt.
I went to eye doctor yesterday only thing wrong is double vision when I look up on the left side (upper right). I think it will get better as maxillary nerve heals. The injury has left me a a few degrees off balance compared to normal.
I am thinking this is something I should just sort of monitor and wait it out for a couple months? Its not painful I'm just off a bit
