Nt scan and fts

Asked for Female, 30 Years

Hi I am 12 week pregnant , and I have done nt scan and fts test dnt scan is normal 1.6mm but fts there trisomy 21 has come 1:525 . doctors told it could be chance of down sindrome.. so go for nept test.. if nt scan is normal .. should I go with this test... I so much worried About it..

Hello there Yr risk for trisomy 21 falls in INTERMEDIATE CATEGORY (1:251-1:1000) SO as per the standard guidelines/recommendations, it's advisable to go for NIPT test( NON INVASIVE PRENATAL TESTING) as it has a higher SENSITIVITY (99%) Don't worryy Go for test!
