Not completely recovered from Anosmia
Hi Doctor, I had been tested positive for covid 19 during April - 21, with prescribed medicines and home isolation recovered and tested negative after quarantine period. After a month from the infection started getting sense of smell but everywhere and evrything smells identical, now after 8 months it's changed and things smells differently from what is is actually ( Taste 100% regained) Could you please advice me on the issue so that I will completely regain my smell Thanks in advance

Wait for few more months. It should improve. Also use Flutoflo nasal spray 2 puffs once a day, both side for nose for 1 month

Sometimes, the nerve that carries your smell information when, affected by the virus may take very long to recover. At times the damage may be permanent/ may or may not recover. You will have to be patient and wait. Unfortunately, there is no specific treatment that can guarantee return of function.

If Hyposmia is not totally recovered then do regular Smell training. Recovery is slow but it generally recover.
