Male 26
It's been 2 months since my anxiety meda stopped. (escitopram 5mg). No anxiety since. I have recurrent sleep problem though. I had some lorazepam left over (since it was sos) which I occasionally use 3-4 times a month (not week but month).
But I have noticed even after lorazepam 2mg I am not able to sleep.
Please suggest. (no anxiety or depression I can detect)
Could it be because I might have exams around and even though I'm not anxious but somewhere deep down it's affecting.

Hi, I appreciate that you reached out with your concern.
It’s great to hear that your anxiety has been under control since stopping medication. Sleep issues can sometimes persist even after anxiety symptoms fade, and your upcoming exams could be unconsciously affecting your sleep, even if you don’t feel anxious.
Try improving sleep hygiene: maintain a fixed sleep schedule, limit screen time before bed, avoid caffeine in the evening, and practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation, progressive muscle relaxation. You may seek therapy and considering techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
