Earlier when I had this problem I consulted a doctor who suggested me that after I cross my 18 years of age I would get regular periods but now I haven't got my periods since last 3-4 months. Kindly suggest if there's anything which I can do by exercising or by consuming fruits or something that can help?
Also I have experienced if I get periods after a gap I suffer a bad backache and abdomen pain...is there anything to cope with it?

Must visit a gynaecologist again to rule out any hormonal causes of irregular cycles. Exercise such as 45 min of brisk walk and aerobics will also help u out.
