Is ph manometry neccessary before fundoplication?
I am having esophagitis and difficulty swallowing problem
But my previous 24hrs manometry shows no reflux.
Can I go for fundoplication?

Fundoplication should be undertaken only after complete evaluation.
It is important to do a manometry, especially in your case, to assess whether your problems are due to a esophageal spasm/tight gastroesophageal sphincter or due to GERD/loose gastroesophageal sphincter.
