As per studies available, on an average it takes 2-4 weeks for covid test to become negative. Even, Covid 19 virus can stay in Body Upto 3 months and dead viral particles can also give a positive test. Check for the CT value in the RTPCR report. The mainstay of treatment depends on the symptoms. If ur patient is asymtomatic or recovered, he just need to follow a healthy diet, lifestyle, take supplements and Regular follow up for any post covid Symptoms.

Repeat RTPCR after 7-10 days.Consult with complete history for further evaluation.

RTPCR May remain positive upto 3 months in many people as it picks up the dead viruses also. No need of retesting after completing the isolation for 2 weeks. But need to assess the clinical symptoms. Consult me online for further management
