Neuroendrocrine tumor in duodendum
My mother went for a full health checkup. But in the biopsy report, a well defined neuroendrocrine tumor was found in the deodendum. It was a shock to the whole family. The report has gone for testing for further info of the tumor. But being a son i am really tensed and couldnt focus on anything. Can i know is it something to be really worried of? Will my mother survive? Please answer me. Is it deadly?

I should see the biopsy report and IHC reports to say regarding the prognosis also her blood reports including GASTRIN levels and any urine reports if available these reports are needed for me to comment regarding the prognosis and also help you understand regarding treatment . But generally speaking yes most of the early stage neuroendocrine tumors in gut are having favarouable prognosis , so please consider treatment without any delay from your side . Feel free to consult me at any stage of your treatment , will be happy help .
