Initially he had swelling over eyelids face and was not showing signs of activeness. Slowly it resulted into generalised body swelling. He almost stopped urination. Proteinuria, traces of blood was found in urine examination. a local nephrologist diagnosed my child with nephrotic syndrome based on history and blood and urine exam reports. For which steroids tablets were given for 2-3 months and then stopped after tappering. Following the same symptoms were subsided but afterwards in 2017 a relapse occurred and the same treatment was given for a period of few weeks. He has been in observation since then with monthly urine microscopic exam During this period traces of protein and blood are found sometimes but there has been no such requirement of steroid treatment for it. Also consistently from last 3 years he is suffering from
vitamin D deficiency and treatment was given. for the last few weeks traces of
calcium oxalate crystals and blood are found. need expert opinion on the matter.
