Negetive thyroid yet medicine prescribed
I am 11 weeks pregnant. My thyroid test level is under normal range (4) All other blood reports ans urine reports are normal. My BMI is also in the normal range . Yet My doctor has prescribed thyroid medications to be taken during pregnency. He said though the test is negetive I have to take medications only during pregnency. However I am sceptical about the side effects of these drugs. Kindly advice.
