NEED URGENT ADVICE ON CABG
My father is having severe triple vessel disease. I've visited few doctors for consultation. Everyone suggesting a different medical procedure. Some advising stenting, others CABG. In CABG also got advice for MICS CABG from some and others advising for standard CABG. This is really confusing to me and I'm unable to decide which procedure to go with. Can I get some guidance here for what would work best. This will be very helpful. Thanks. (Angiography report attached)

The option of doing a procedure is driven by several features besides Patient’s issues, technical issues and required systems of treatments. On the whole as the angiogram details are far from being complete, it’s fair that you should have provided all the details. Also, acute coronary syndrome diagnosis adds to the conundrum of confusion and escalates the risks of a procedure. Even though he has all the three vessels are diseased , the graftability of these vessels may help in making clinical decisions. It may indeed be a source of confusion. If someone wants to do micas it’s only to reduce risks, Please consider if possible a stent is a better choice unless the procedure risks are higher

Hi. The angiogram shows a critical disease plus it also mentions that he had Acute coronary syndrome, that is an event die to one of the blockages. In that case the culprit blockage which appears to unstable (as mentioned ulcerated should be addressed at the earliest) in fact we do it on table after seeing the angiogram and discussing with family, in the same sitting.
Next Steps
In a stable scenario there are various options. Here  I concur with your doctors advice Later the right side blockage also may require stenting Seeing the images will help opine better
Health Tips
Need to see angiogram images and know other details, like history, echo report, other health issues, to opine correctly
