During school health check up my son was not able to read few lines and when we took him for eye check up at one of the eye clinics near our place we got to know he has power (-ve) in both the eyes. And the doctor was asking us to do eyedrop test after which his vision will be blurred for 2/3 days. But doctor was not able to explain us many things. So we refused. Doc
tor said if you won't do it then there is chance of becoming squint . Is this true!

Usually this age gp children if not fully corrected or not fully co operative then cycloplgic test is the best remedy. Please get it done ,don't get confused and motivate the child to use glasses regularly.

With mild to moderate negative power, usually squint does not appear
You must get that cycloplegic refraction done ....it is recommended to all children for proper refraction
